  • What is JaLoKa?

    JaLoKa is a small family run body care company created by My mother, father, myself and my sister. This company was created for our youngest sister Janai who suffered from really dry skin since birth. 


    We tried every cream meant to soothe dry skin but nothing helped her condition . We decided to try and create products gentle enough for sensitive skin but powerful enough to nourish hydrate and add oils back to dry skin.  We enjoy making natural products that leave your skin feeling pampered and silky smooth. We hope you enjoy using it as much as we enjoyed making it for you.

  • Are the products organic?

    All of the products used to create our body care line are 100% Natural & Organic 

  • Are the products vegan?

    Yes our products are vegan friendly we do not use product that are animal derived. 


Body Butters


  • What is a body butter?

    A butter body is a deeply hydrating, richer and more nourishing skin moisturizer cream usually made of a mixture of shea butter, cocoa butter or mango butter.

  • What is the difference between body butter and lotion?

    Body butter has higher concentration of moisturizers which makes it a thicker texture then lotion leaving your skin hydrated for longer. Lotion is lighter and water based which is easier to absorb but leaving your skin feeling drier faster.

  • Can you use body butters head to toe?

    Of course body butter is a natural product it can be used from your face to your feet you won’t need to use a large amount since the product is thicker.

  • What is the shelf life of the body butters?

    Since these products are natural the shelf life is 7-8 months long if you use the spoons attached to the products instead of your fingers.

  • How should I store my body butter?

    Butters are always best when kept in a cool environment. Since these products are whipped you should store them in cooler place especially during summer months 


Body Scrubs


  • What is a body Scrub

    Body scrubs are an exfoliant, meaning they physically remove dead skin cells from the outer layers of your skin with abrasive ingredients, like sugar or salt. This stimulates skin cell turnover, resulting in smoother, brighter skin and even possibly preventing future acne breakouts.

  • Why should I scrub?

    Body scrubs help remove dead skin, unclog pores and help reduce ingrown hair. Once dead skin cells are removed your skin can absorb any moisture like a body butter more effectively.

  • Can body scrubs clog my drain?

    Our scrubs are made with organic cane sugar or Rodin salt. Sugar and salt are biodegradable so they dissolve easily once in contact with water so they should not clog your drains.

  • Can I use it on my face?

    Yes our scrubs are also good for exfoliating the face .

  • Can someone with Eczema, Dermatitis or sensitive skin use your scrubs?

    Don't exfoliate weeping or oozing eczema: Exfoliation works for dry, thick, eczema-affected areas. If your skin is wet and weeping, skip the scrub and just wash with a gentle soap formulated for sensitive skin. Test your skin with a small patch before using it on your entire body.


Return Policy



  • What is your return policy?

    JaLoKa would love you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Your happiness is our highest priority. Regrettably, we cannot offer a refund or exchange once the product has been opened and used because of the nature of this product. 


    In the unlikely event that the product is faulty or defective we can accept returns for damaged or defective unopened or unused goods only. 


    These returns must be made within 7 days of your receipt of the product. 


    If you feel you have received a faulty or defective product, please email us at JaLoKaBeauty@gmail.com for further instructions.


    Everyone’s skin responds to products differently, therefore, results may vary. If there is a problem with your product please contacts us as soon as you have received your package, this way we can resolve your issue as quickly as possible.

  • JaLoKa Conditions of Use

    Thanks so very much for ordering our delightful and awesome handmade bath & body products! All orders made on our website are final. We all work hard to ensure that your order is sent out in a timely manner. Our system validates all mailing addresses, however, if you have changed your billing/shipping address there is no way that we will know. 

     

    We can only ship your items according to what is in our site’s checkout process.  Please double check your order before you confirm. Thank you so much your cooperation and understanding!

  • Shipping information?

    1. Our orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. If you have a large or complex order it just might take a little longer. Please allow us, in this case, up to a week. The method of shipping we use is USPS Priority Mail, & UPS, which usually takes 2-3 days to arrive (International Orders may take longer). Since orders are shipped according to our system we cannot tell you when exactly your items will be shipped, but you will receive an email stating when your item was shipped and an approximate arrival date via the shipping company with using the tracking number. 


    2. All of our products are made and shipped upon request; and orders are filled in the order in which they were received. As for International orders will take longer processing time. Once a package is shipped, we are not responsible for packages marked as “Delivered”. If you know you are unavailable to receive your package we encourage you to make arrangements to have someone receive the package.


    3. We ship all over the US as well as Internationally, this also includes APO and FPO shipping as well.  


    4. Customers must double check all of their orders to be sure that the address and other important information are accurate and updated. Once an order is shipped, we are not responsible for incorrect shipping information provided to us.


    5. All orders receive a shipping confirmation once shipped. Please make sure when you place your order to double-check your email address, to ensure you receive your confirmation email. Remember our products are temperature sensitive, please make sure someone is there to pick up or is at your home when the package arrives.  We want you to enjoy the quality of our amazing products.


    6. Would you like signature confirmation?  This option can also be available if you decide to use your address or a different address.  This signature guarantees that your packages will not be at a hot location for a long time.  There is an extra cost of $20.00 for this service. Please remember extreme heat temperatures are between the months of April to September.
